SoundWaves® audio wires offer some significant advantages over other brands and styles of 2-way radio wires. Most important, for sound, we use a hearing aid quality speaker. This higher quality speaker provides noticeably improved volume and greater sound clarity. Equally important to the speaker is its placement behind-the-ear and the short sound travel path. The 3” acoustic tube is made of dry tube material and eliminates condensation issues. Anyone who has used a hollow-coil wire will tell you that when condensation builds in the 19” tube, sound reaching the ear is either stopped or greatly muffled.
